Understand devices and their exposure
A protection program starts by identifying devices, users and the information they handle. We review operating systems, updates, permissions and remote work. Equipment that cannot support selected tools or may need replacement is identified. This inventory supports licensing and priorities, avoiding the assumption that all devices face the same exposure or should receive an identical configuration regardless of their role in the business.
Tools supported by policies
We assess antimalware protection and additional capabilities according to selected licenses. Implementation can include installation, centralized configuration and rules agreed with the business. Administrative permissions, updating and session locking practices are also reviewed. A tool alone cannot eliminate incidents; its value depends on configuration, coverage and a named person or service responsible for reviewing alerts and taking the actions agreed in advance.
Alert handling with a clear scope
We define which events are reviewed, how often and when they are escalated. Actions that may interrupt work, such as isolating a device, require authorization rules. Coverage, exclusions and device onboarding or removal procedures are documented. Monitoring outside normal working hours must be expressly contracted according to internal or specialist provider capacity, with documented commitments rather than assumed around the clock availability.
